Hi Gabe, I have been learning guitar for a couple of years now and I had'nt made very much progress. I have tried almost every course on the internet claiming to have those amazing secrets, I have got a mountain of books claiming to teach you to play in 6 weeks. All of them have helped a bit but Lerarn and Master Guitar for me is the best. If this is the first course you have tried you have cetainly picked the right one, dont bother with any of the others. There are no shortcuts or secrets to learing the guitar, what you need is plenty of practice and determination, it will take time and you will get days when you feel like giving up. When you can actually play something on the guitar that sounds OK it is one of the most rewarding expriences you can have. Good luck. Charles
