Gretchen, Thanks so much for the post. It's great to have you as part of our little guitar family. I am glad that you are learning and progressing in your own playing. Learning music can be fun and fulfilling and need not be intimidating and frustrating. Too often, especially in guitar circles, slick guitar ads with guys in leather playing fast rock licks present an image of guitar playing that is not relevant for a lot of people who just want to learn how to play. Keep up the great work. With effort and patience you can progress to be the best guitar player that you have inside of you.
